Employee Benefit Concepts, Inc is based in the small town of
Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio,where we have easy access to expressways
leading to all parts of the State.
We were incorporated in May of 1983 for the purpose of marketing group
health benefits to employers. A year later we designed the “CLAIMS
ASSUMPTION PROGRAM”. Soon we began marketing through other health
insurance agents. In a few years we were not only marketing in Northeast
Ohio, but had a presence in most parts of the State of Ohio.
The “CLAIMS ASSUMPTION PROGRAM” is simple in concept. An employer
purchases a fully insured “high deductible” benefit plan from any number
of carriers, and with the agent, we assist the employer in designing a
Medical Reimbursement Plan. This results in the benefit plan that the
employer wants to provide for his employees. We then administer that
Medical Reimbursement Plan.

Over the years we have grown to an eight-person agency. Our administered
plans cover over 2,800 employees plus their dependents, and we currently
administer Medical Reimbursement Plans throughout the State of Ohio,
with several clients having locations outside the State.
Our smallest group is six employees and the largest, to date, is 230
employees. The industries that we serve are quite varied; from heavy to
light industry, to service companies, to medical professionals and
accounting firms, to retailers and wholesalers, to construction
contractors, to public entities, and even a school district and a
church.
Our marketing strategy is also very simple - to rely on word-of-mouth
recommendations from the clients and agents with whom we do business. We
depend on our excellent service and well-deserved reputation to grow our
business.
